Last year when I worked in the suburbs of Milan, I had my business lunch at “La Piadineria” and I liked its piadina (italian flatbread wrap), a typical fast food from Romagna. Lately, “La Piadineria” opened a store close to Cordusio square in Milan (Duomo District), so I was very exited to go there! Even if I was neither from Romagna nor expert of piadinas, the one I tasted at “La Piadineria” was the best I’ve ever eaten in Milan.
There are a wide types of thin piadinas, infact you can choose among three kinds of size: classic, large or wrap up, then each one is filled with many ingredients for example cheese, ham, vegetables, salmon or mushrooms. My favourite piadinas are:
– “leggenda” with squacquerone cheese, raw ham and arugula;
– “leggerezza” with salmon, squacquerone cheese and arugula.
